I've got some pictures and a write-up to post for it. I can't find the thread now.

I started the thread, and bc of POTENTIAL privacy issues, I talked w a couple people and, at least temporarily, suggested that the thread be pulled.

Look for a related thread under General Discussions, and possibly, something from actual driver.

Is it possible to get some more information about this? It's been nearly a week and no news.

YEAH..this is the type of info I find interesting too. I could care less about names, locations, etc. I WANT to know how, comparatively, the smart came through things, especially in relation to the other vehicle. There's no privacy issue involved! Potential or otherwise!

ok - 2 things out there.

One is the privacy the individual, who I BELIEVE I know who it is, but has not stepped forward. I've attempted contact, but do not want to push too hard.

Second is 'the right' and I do consider it a right, for news about the safety of my car to be discussed. Now since I'm not paying for this forum, I've deferred to moderators for a 'ruling.'

I can't speak for the moderators, but I expect a few things to be established. It was inevitable that a Smart driver be injured (and one day killed) in a crash. The owner of 'SmartCarOfAmerica.com' needs to make the decision on how such is handled.
