Where'd everybody go? (Hampton Roads)

In the month before I bought my red/black/red passion I saw at least 2 smartcars a week, since I bought mine I've seen 1. Where's everyone driving in Hampton Roads?

I am on the roads all the time. I drive from Harbour View (NE Suffolk) to Greenbrier and back M,T,Th,F (where I work at Canon's national call center, full time) and I drive from Harbour View to Chesapeake Square Sam's Club Sat and Sun (where I work part time). On Wednesday (my day off) you will see me in the Harbour View area sometimes over around Chesapeake Square Mall or Greenbrier Mall... and once in a blue moon you will catch me at Water Country or Busch Gardens... It just depends.

I have already put 9000 miles on my smart since mid-Dec 2008 when I took delivery.

i drive daily from va.beach to hampton. i was just thinking we should have meet and greet in august or september. anyone up for it? maybe in hampton at Mc faddens like last year when we were able to sit outside.

Never been to McFaddens but it sounds like a good reason to visit. Wednesdays out as well as Labor day weekend, the wife and I are going to South Boston, Va that weekend. I travel I-664 from Hampton to Newport News Mon-Fri and Hampton Center Parkway Sundays. I volunteer at the Virginia Living Museum on Sundays so can't make McFadden's until 5:30ish.

We live in Carrollton (near Smithfield) with our blue/silver passion. My daughter and I drive to the High School every day during the school year. You can find us going over the James River Bridge on any given day. We also go to Harbor View area for Walmart or Bed Bath and Beyond.

I was just thinking the same thing last week -- that I hadn't seen Smarts around in awhile. Then I caught up w/Mike on Holland Rd last week and it made feel better. I drive in Va Beach, mostly the Holland Rd / Lynnhaven area. I miss getting together as a group. I'd been unable to attend the last cpl (Williamsburg and Suffolk). McFadden's sounds good Erin. I'm up for a saturday or sunday, late afternoon would be good, like around 4 or 5pm. I haven't seen Impster in awhile. Don't know if he got his new panels yet or not.

i saw awhite and black today in hampton and saw a yellow last week. there is a gray and black that either lives in my neighborhood or is cutting thru. i have seen it quite a few times but always when driving my other car. i will post a meet and greet msg later this week for probably the second week end after labor day. Hopefully skyvue will set up a williamsburg drive on the parkway in october like we did in the spring. Diane i haven't talked to impster but i know he has red panels. he won some award at a car show in richmond a few weeks back.

Yes, he won the best in show. He had the only smart in the show. I guess between his "lambo" doors, spoilers, wheels and to top it off his co-pilot is a 3 foot tall gargoyle, no wonder. I arrived at the end of the show to watch him receive it. He did a good thing to his smart.
I hope to see him here in Richmond for the 20th event. And a few more.
