WV Smart Sightings

NOT!

As an new owner for only two weeks, other than the orphans in the show room, I've yet to see a Smart moving. Only exception - mine as a reflection in a store front window.

I'm desperate - want to see one moving! And soon! This is a difficult request as this part of the state is only 3 miles across. Just might have to attend an out of state Smart Meet.

Maybe if another WV'n mentioned they saw one. Help!

Are you going to the April Fool's cruise setup by jwight this Saturday? My wife and I plan to be there and it shouldn't be very far at all for you. You could see a whole bunch at one time!

Going with the April Fool's theme, I'll even bring a sample if you'd like to see a Cremation or Vasectomy Kit in person...

If you're ever down Charleston way, you *MIGHT* see one, but it's a rare occurrence even down here.

Was considering the April Fool's Event - would love to see jwight, you and all the rest of friendly Smart owners on this forum. But I time everything wrong. Traveling east to Macungie, PA this weekend - and their event is the very next weekend. Talk about bad timing!

Hoping to see some Smarts on the long drive.

That "Cremation Kit" is tempting. Our 36th Wedding Anniversary is on the 29th. We could order two at our age. No need for the Vasectomy.

Sorry you want be able to make the GTG! It should be a good time.

I've been trying to get a video of a Cremation Kit opening by an unsuspecting victim, er, friend. I thought I had one from a friend's party that turned 50 recently, but the umm, person running the video camera didn't have his new camera setup right. The opening was hilarious as they read the instructions, held up the items, and tried to figure out who was responsible. The crowd got a huge kick out of it, but alas, no video. I was going for YouTube for a little advertising.

I recall taking a weekend trip to Hedgesville,WA and feeling like a lonely duck being the only Smart car there. Why some of the people there probably never even seen one at the time. One person even was checking under my car to see where the transmission was as he works on them. I do know where you are coming from. Perhaps you might even start a trend out your way.

I'm in Wheeling and drive through your neck of the woods fairly frequently on my way to the airport, so only a matter of time . . .

Oh, joy of joys - you're only two counties away and in WV! But you and I have a better chance of seeing a Smart in PA. I'll be looking for you on the road when I visit our son in Moon Twp.

I just drove from Fairfax, VA out to Capon Bridge on Saturday (4/18) and did not see one other Smart the entire time! I had some people in Capon Bridge looking at me like I was an alien that had just landed.

Not too many in WV are there? Eventually my husband and I will be living in Hampshire Co - by that time hopefully my little gray 09 cabrio will have some compadres...

Finally! My first sighting. Just saw a White with Black Cell driving through the WMC, Professional Building's Parking Lot, Weirton, WV. Rumor has it that belongs to an Orthopedic Surgeon.
