WV Spring Meet (Flatwoods)

CANCELLED. Possibly rescheduling for this summer depending on interest - see last post.

I'll update this initial post with known attendees and the itinerary as needed.

Likely Attending:
rfernatt, 1 smart, 2 persons
AllBlackS42, 1 smart, 2 persons
sking1947, 1 smart, 2 persons

Central WV meet on Sat, May 2 starting at 10:30 am. I'm thinking the Flatwoods area (exit 67 off I-79) with the outlet mall and maybe hitting the Falls Mill scenic overlook and Bulltown Historic Area during a drive on the back roads. We could start in Flatwoods with breakfast/lunch at Shoneys, go for a drive, make a couple stops, and then end up back in Flatwoods for talk over coffee at the Amish Farms store. Those who would rather peruse the Outlet Mall are welcome to do so and the drivers can meet back up as a group after the drive.

Very likely I can participate on May 2nd, subject to my son not having a lacrosse game (will check). May 9 and May 16th won't work, for sure, though.

I took a drive to Flatwoods today and updated the initial post in this thread with a little better idea of an itinerary. Nothing is set in stone, of course, but the current plan is fairly straightforward and I can contact Shoney's for a group reservation and parking area. I'd like to keep it fairly low key, low stress, and leave plenty of time for discussion and looking over the cars.

I'm also going to post this as an event on insider, so feel free to sign up there or respond to this thread with your interest.

Alright, we're getting a little closer to the date! I'd like to hear from some other WV folks or anyone willing to drive to Flatwoods. Wouldn't be too bad of a drive from south western PA...
