Just back from a four day Smart car camper trip to Traverse City. The countryside was bright red with cherry's ready to harvest. Ate a bunch :O)
This is also wine country, so they say, and the hillsides were beautiful with their vines. But after living in California for years I have yet to find a drinkable Michigan wine. (NY... Yes, Yes. Mi, No! :O).
Fees at the park at Interlochen were $12 a night.
It was a fine low cost way to fly. A2Jack.
