Insurance quotes for smart in Michigan

Hi Sharon! We pay $360 for 6mo, full coverage, $100 deduct, State Farm.

Don't like them because of the way they treated the folks in New Orleans, but they were up and ready to write on the day we bought our car. (Our own carrier had never heard of Smart.)

We will shop again in 5 months.

Thanks, Jack. I'm going to try to stick with AAA, although I may go to basic collision instead of broad to save some $$$. I know the cabrio is more to insure than the hardtop. You have the hardtop, right? I also like the fact that AAA is for a full year, not six months. With a six-month policy, couldn't they raise your rates when it's time to renew?

All that being said, I did get the lowest quote from State Farm ** $405 for six months, I think. I just hate splitting our insurance between two companies and I'm not sure I want to move everything, including homeowners, over there.
