sMUG 2nd Annual Woodward Dream Cruise Event

sMUG (smart Michigan User Group) and smart Center Bloomfield will be hosting a gathering for the 2nd year at the Woodward Dream Cruise. Last year there were aprox. 75 smarts attending.

Details are still being worked out - and will be posted here soon. When finalized it will be posted here in the Michigan group section, the calendar, as well at smart USA insider events.

Here is the preliminary notice sent recently to sMUG members:

August 15th Woodward Dream Cruise and Picnic
Meet at Poppleton Park, take a "smart cruise", return to Poppleton Park for a pot luck barbecue and an afternoon of socializing with fellow smart owners,a visit with David Schembri, President of smart USA is possible.(Times to follow)

2nd Annual Woodward Dream Cruise

Join us again! Saturday August 15th at the Woodward Dream Cruise. The Dream Cruise is the World's Largest one day celebration of car culture.

smart center Bloomfield invites all smart owner's to meet for a smart cruise, followed by a picnic and an afternoon of fun. Stay as long as you like, watch the cars cruise by the park, visit with other smart owners, relax and enjoy the day.

10:00am Meet at Poppleton Park "staging area"
10:30am Leave for smart cruise down Woodward (Hopefully to Ferndale).
12:30pm Picnic "Pot Luck" at Poppleton Park (Please bring a dish).
1:30pm Dave Schembri, President of smart USA Q&A (tentative).
TBD Afternoon cruise for anyone interested

Staging Area & Parking? (see map) Enter onto Wimbleton Drive from Adams Road heading West. We will stack vehicles North of the park and depart at 10:30AM. After driving in the Dream Cruise, return to the staging area to park and attend the Picnic.

Things to Bring? One "Pot Luck" dish to pass, drinks, Chairs, Coolers, Blankets, Yard Games, Frisbee etc. Please RSVP to abieber@smartcenterbloomfield.com with the type of dish you want to bring (casserole, salad, desert, etc.).
