I received the "Congrtatulations" e-mail a few day back letting me know my smart cab is on the way! It's on a vessel called the "Patriot", somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, whispering my name.

"Billo...Billo?"

Listen...can you hear it?? I can!

It's very exciting news, to say the least.

I hope it arrives before the next club meeting at Classic Appreciation on the 19th...but I'm not holding my breath.

FYI: I'm a 1200 for those who are interested.

Congrats, Billo! I'm still waiting for the call that mine has arrived or is at least on the truck from Baltimore.

My mom passed away over the weekend after a three-month battle with cancer, complicated by 10 days with a sepsis infection in February, so I'm home all week. If I get the call, I probably won't be able to pick it up until at least Saturday. I'm thinking I probably won't get it until sometime next week at this point, but we'll see.

It will be nice to have my new smartie to help cheer me up. It's been a roller coaster ride and now I have to learn how to live a normal life again.
