adding LED lightning under car

I took my smart car into the smart dealer in clearwater this morning for its 10,000 mile sevice, I had to get a couple of other things done at the same time ,my heated seat on the passenger side quit working, the dealer informed me because I had added LED lighting on the underside of the car, it was going to cost me 50.00 just to lift the car off the ground to change the oil ,not including the 1service costs , the lighting was only held on by 3 zip stips on each side ,and when I made the offer to take them off I was told I couldn't,I don't mind paying for labor on extra work that I might have caused ,but to tell me 50 bucks for something that only took no more than 5 minutes to take off and put back on ,is a rip off,be carefull what you add on to your smart cars ,you may be screwed like I was

I did learn a lesson, anyone in the tampa bay area take your cars to tampa instead of service in clearwater

Why not "reschedule" your service for another day?

I have pictures ,but for some reason I can't upload them to this websight, the lights under the car blocked the arms on the rack that lifts the car ,at least that what the dealer claims ,after to talking to a mechanic at another dealer ,I've decided to no longer use the dealer in clearwater
