AIR BLUE windscreen film

Greetings Smart drivers, I would like to inform you of a product I am using that really enhances the safety, comfort and longevity of my Smart. It is called Air Blue wind screen film by Llumar. I went to my local sound and tint shop,Hightech Hifi in Melbourne Fl. to have my Smart Passion,Sporty Shorty, windows tinted. while I was waiting for the tint to be applied, I was talking to Chad Morrison, the owner/president . He also suggested the Air Blue windsheild film. He told me that since the Smart f.t. has such a large windshield it benefit greatly from the Air Blue film also, stating this film would reduce the temperature inside the car, prevent UV rays from entering and destroying the interior fabrics of the car and reducing strain on the A/C unit by only having to cool an already cooler car. I told him to go ahead and put it in. Now, several months later, I find that was a really COOL move. All of the things he told me were true. When I attended the Smart Rally at Old Town I had many opportunities to show and compare my Smart to theirs. I asked them to open their cars, sit in them and feel the heat. Then I would open mine and let them sit in it. In all cases they said mine was cooler.(public opinion poll). Any way, after several months of trial I find that Air Blue performs as advertised. Since I have read many posts about A/C is wimpy and does'nt cool well, here is a solution to your problem. It looks cool, feels cool and protects cool. Be cool,be Smart get cool. All my best to all you cool, smart gals n' guys out there. SmartChip.

My tint guy mentioned this stuff when I was getting my windows tinted a few weeks ago. He didn't have it in stock - that being said tinting the windows and putting insulation between the sunshade and roof on a Passion Coupe made a huge difference.

So, SmartChip... Is Hightech HiFi your shop? (Owned by Chad Morrison, of course).

It's always courteous to lay out your affiliations at the start of a conversation especially when you come across with such praise that it looks like an advertisement.

Sorry guys, I'm just a satisfied customer of theirs, I woulden't know how to commercialize if I was paid to do it,(clarification, which I was NOT). They are just a local shop that have sold me quality products and services for many years.I just wanted to tell other Smart owners about a quality product that is sold NATIONALLY,attempting to help them. Once again I apologize to anyone I have offended. Not so SmartChip

Many folks gush about the service or products for their Smart that really excel. Not many people have their own shops, too.

Wonder if this stuff would be legal in Washington state? Also...... if the auto light & rain sensor would still continue to function as normal on cars equipped with the "Comfort Package?"
