Man do I ever feel your pain. I have had tons of problems with them starting with a refund on a sub that I was not going to use yet my emails went unresponded to for awhile then all of a sudden I get one that says "WHY?" Not sorry I did not get back to you. Not please nor thank you. I answered and then never heard back and never got a refund.
So I emailed again and I said screw it just send it back I will find a place to use it. Of course I get an email right back saying send $25 bucks for shipping. Although feeling put off I did it anyway. Never received the product so I demanded to know what was going on or I would ask in the open forums. The reply I received back was "dont threaten me I have been sick with the flu for the last week." OK understandable but still I have had the flu recently and my life continues to go. So I was supposed to receive it but did not so I got a refund and repurchased it (yes I know very very stupid should have gone to smart madness) with 2nd day shipping to be delivered yesterday. Guess what never showed up? The sub! Now the email I sent asked for him to do something about it. Of course the response was you can call them and blah blah. Apparently I paid them so I could do all the work.
Bottom line is I am highly considering contacting the BBB and file a complaint. Currently I have paid for an item that I have not yet received. What is sad is as consumers we hardly check the BBB. If I would have seen the 19 complaints in 36 months before I would have thought twice.

1. In the bike rack instructions it says "Hand tighten only, Do not over Tighten", by your own admition you said that you are using tools to tighten the bolts and you broke them- We replaced them free of charge...
2. On 10/6 you posted that you emailed 4smartcar about your broken bolts...
On 10/10 you posted that you recived your repacment parts yesterday...
I do not know of many companies that will ship replacment parts the next day, and pay for next day shipping...
you need to adjust your expectations and give us a break

This truly says it all. Apparently it is not right to expect any type of decent service for your money.
Its the exact opposite at Smart Madness. I did not hear back for a few days and they actually apologized for it! Can you believe that. They apologized
Needless to say.........I am very disappointed in the service at 4smartcar.com and I will NEVER do business with them again or there rims that are at least 4 times the amount they should be LOL!
