Armrest Solution Found...

I think this armrest looks more comfortable than the other one I've seen on this site. Only problem, I can understand a single thing on the website. Anyone installed one of these? Where did you get it? How much did it cost? Help please.

At 169 Euros, it had better be mighty comfortable. Looks like it comes in black as well.

Well, I'm not sure if its that much more comfortable than the other one listed, but it sure looks a lot more at home in the Smart than the other one (that may or may not block the hand brake a bit).

Plus it moves with the seat, so its functional for my wife and I both, since we have our seats in different positions when we drive the car.

I just wish I could get this in the States.

It is 169 Euros or about $250.
You can order online here is a British site that you can order from in English: http://www.smartsrus.com/acatalog/comfort.html

Looks like available in Anthracite gray leather - maybe black as well.

If you teamed up with SmartBillet you could make your own much cheaper and easier.
The arm rest is a recovered stock item from many Ford vans. A trip to a salvage yeard will get you one cheap. You just then need to have the bracket made and perhaps recover it depending on what colours Ford actually sell them in.

It might be worth enquiring with Ford to see what prices new rests are.
