Are you looking for something to carry the smart?

BTW, the max load on those two wires holding the tailgate is 250 lbs so whatever you come up with needs to stick to that limit.

Mine must be extra strong or they are 200# each, two of us were sitting on my tailgate today.

Having already emailed the Clever End folks about how to get one for the US 451, I can tell you that, at that time (couple of months ago), they had no plans to serve the US market...

I have a bed extender on my truck but I dont think it can get the size down far enough for the small size of our rear end

A warning in the owners maual indicates that the max weight for the tail gate is 250 Lbs.

I've been interested in getting something like this also. Might just have to creat my own. There are plenty of points to lock onto. Would not carry more than 250# anyway - so I don't see that as a problem.
