Best Recommendation for Painting Rims?

I'm ready to paint my rims black and wanted everyones best recommendations (other than paying some one to do it) such as:

What kind of spray paint?
Toxic issues?
Where to get the paint?
Type of paint matter? (Is there a car spray paint vs art spray paint?)

Anything else?

Most auto part stores sell wheel paint. The brand i used on my old 200sx is duplicolor they also have a clear too. They looked really good for a spray can job it really surprised me. Bob.
