i have a Lorinser body kit. i installed it myself.... no special tools needed... and it came with all the hardware. they use stock tabs to put it in the existing holes... so install was a piece of cake. time on install was about and hour. all i bought was some of those special sockets used on mercedes....they kinda look like a star.

mycavs00n04-

Did you buy the hole set? My friend and I did mine it took 5 hr to do mine. I have some Q for you about all the hardware. I got a blk piece, I dnt know what its for. And 2 long blk metal brackets and a steel piece, I am thinking that the steel and blk brackets are for something els. also two different set's of screws/Bolts. I bought the front and the back. got different sides.

Thanks for the help.

i have a 10 inch kicker L5 sub. in a custom fiberglass box designed to be the correct air space for the sub... and i built the box. the black steel pieces go in the rear to support the bumper. you have to remove the long carriage bolts under the car, and drill holes in the bumper bottom. those are really necessary...they support it.....any more questions? ...i'll be happy to answer...

Our you thinking about doing this yourself or our you having a shop do it? If you our going to do it, I suggest you TAKE YOUR TIME. The body shop at are dealership does them sometimes and they our pretty good about taking their time. If you don't, you our going to have problems with them fitting properly.

Just remember, if you our doing it yourself, no matter what kit you our using, take your time and fit everything FIRST before permanantly installing the parts.

Good Luck!
