A/C Climate Control Disassembly

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the instructions to diassemble the A/C Control Unit.
I've already changed the button bank, Speedo, window buttons and gear shift to Red LEDs. Only items I haven't changed are the PODS which I'm waiting for my Brabus pods and I believe I read that it already has Red illumination, and the A/C Control Unit.
I am trying to finish up my Red LED swap and I don't want to leave that unit the regular light orange since it sits pretty high and will be the only part in the car with the regular stock backlight.

I have searched the forums and have also emailed Kane from evilution.
He's not sure how to do it either.

Any help with instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

All I can say at this point is "good luck" and if you can figure it out, please publish your results.

I took the control unit out of the dash but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get into the plastic casing. I wanted to figure out if there was a way to get full windshield airflow with no A/C but was not ready to "break it open" to see if I could could put Humpty Dumpty together again. Despite a couple sessions messing with it, I couldn't figure it out.

Hi John, Thanks, I'm going to need it, the unit has been sitting on my dining table for the last couple days so havent been able to drive the smart.

I'm thinking I may need to purchase another to experiment with if the price is reasonable which I think is highly unlikely since it would prob have to come from the dealer haha.

I will keep trying and if I'm able to I will definitely post the how-to.

I think the cost is about $240 but that's from memory nearly a year ago. Certainly out of my ballpark for experimenting.
