Cabrio Roof Pattern?

So I was spending some quality time in the driveway with my Cabrio today, washing & waxing (well, Rejexing actually) & loading gobs of accumulated goodies into her, and a stray thought came to me...

What about a color-matched cabriolet roof? I know they make convertible roof fabric in other colors than black...

Hm.

Anyone ever run across cabrio/convertible roof fabric patterns for any make/model of car? I wonder....

we dye interiors all the time ..to give them a new life or to change the color all together..cheaper than 25k and up new one...

I'd be surprised if you can dye the OEM black roof to match the metallic blue panels on my car. It'd sure be spiffy looking, though...

I'm filing this away on the long-term ideas list... Got to get some decent wheels first, but it's an idea I'm definitely going to hang onto.

If you do get something close to a match, Would it still match in 5 years after some sun fading?

I meant "pattern" as in a fabric cutting pattern for the cabrio roof fabric panels.

The best way to make a pattern if you're replacing the roof fabric is to use the original roof fabric!
