Will CanAm Spyder's 14 inch rims fit on the smart? Specifically; will my calipers in front clear 14" rims with flat style wheel weights?

What if the calipers were trimmed? We're only challenged with 0.5 inch less clearance. The spokes alone would be the same length as a stock passion rim.

I wouldn't even ask if i knew of a single 14 inch rim package for a smart. 14 inches equals less unsprung weight.

And forget about sidewall stiffness being affected, even at 14 inches, the profile of 165/65/14 is still only 4.2 inches. while the profile of a much grippier 205/50/15 tire is almost equal at just over 4 inches of sidewall to bend in the turns.

What's not to love?
