Carbon Fiber

Hey guys and gals! I'm looking to dress up the smart a little with carbon fiber. I know there is a CF gas cover but looking for more stuff. I'm thinking maybe some CF mirror housings, door handles and trim and the air inlet as well as the grill up front would look good. Does anyone know where or even who can make these items up for us?

I'd love some Dymag wheels too but I'm pretty sure a set will cost just as much as the whole car .

Tell us what you want. We do all the CF parts for the New MINI. We are planning on doing body panels and some interior pieces for the Smart too.

I wish the products were REAL CF though, all these pieces are plastic with a CF printed vinyl covering, it looks kinda cheap in my opinion.

That is just silly!!!
On "normal" cars they replace stock hood and trunk lid with carbon fiber ones to reduce weight. (less weight = more performance). On the Smart CF hood will be heavier then stock service flap.
It will be cool to have full set of REAL carbon fiber body panels, but this might be a challenge to put them on the car. Stock panels are very flexible and you need that flex to make it fit and snap in the place. CF panels will be very difficult if not impossible to fit. Wrap is another solution, but it will look kinda cheap.
By the way Breathless have CF rear bumper cover.

This beautiful radiator shroud from APR Performance is designed to keep air flowing THROUGH the radiator instead of up and over the top of it. The shroud is constructed completely of carbon fiber -- and not that fiberglass-laminate stuff. This is "dry" carbon fiber, like on real race cars, baked in an autoclave for maximum strength and absolute minimum weight. Simple installation. A stunning and functional underhood modification.
