Cold Air Scoop - Worth it?

I am considering a cold air scoop and am aware of the BPP and Evil Twin models. To those of you who have installed a scoop, have you noticed any performance gain or do you feel this is a more cosmetic mod?

I got a lower intake air temp when I installed the Breathless scoop.
on a long pull up some of the big hills I pass over 7200 foot elevation.
I got 2-3 miles per hour higher top speed pulling the hill with the scoop.
it went from 66 to 69mph.

so, it worked for me.

I'd say a very slight increase in performance if any really. I bought the Evil Twin air scoop mainly for cosmetic reasons. Got it from Smartsrus

If it was really beneficial smart would in all probability offer it as an option.
It looks good though, yet I wonder if it affects air intake at certain speeds in a negative way?

I got EvilTwin one. Bought it for looks. Loving it.
Even if you will get any performance gain, I think it will be killed by a drag scoop creating. IMHO

I bought my BPP scoop for cosmetics. Ernie says there is a difference and I believe him, but I have a fast car already so I don't push it in the SMART.

Is Smartsrus the only supplier of the Evil Twin air scoop? What did it run, shipped? Any US supplier? The ones on their website have a logo on them, prefer flat black.

Thanks for the feedback....

Other's have it but they have the best price with shipping... Don't worry about getting it across the pond.
