The "french fry" is the alternative name I like to use for the smart OEM "luggage fastener." Velcro is along all of one side of this foam stick. You can have it be a stop between the cargo area and the seats or pull up from an end to remove, contort, and replace. When flat, the velcro holds beautifully. Pulling on one end peels the velcro across the narrow width making the action simple and easy.

Best thing for me: you can have on in your hands for under $30. They should be at your local Smart Center.

yep, what they said! I think it's $24 through my smart center, but he may not have actually given me the price. Everything I've ordered has been less than what other people are saying (ie, my rear fender was only $142 versus the $185-225 price others have said, the wind splitter was $12, instead of $18).

Sixteen cents, and a little double sided tape. Same 3m tape used with the window visors. Been on over a year works great.

Looks like a drawer pull or cabinet knob of some sort.

Home Depot or Lowes.

FYI, I picked up my air deflector yesterday from the dealer. I mounted it, it looks good, etc, but it's just too small. Not enough area to actually grab. I wouldn't spend the money if you've been thinking about it.

I believe I'll get the smann one soon.

My Home Depot Handle

Here is my rear handle that I got from Home Depot for 3 bucks.

A couple of things I learned in the install process.

1) In that the back glass is slightly curved I had to grind the handle pads slightly to match that curve. This made the mounting piece curve when the handle was tighten down and therefore sit flat on the glass.

2) A mounting piece had to be fashioned because the pads on the handle were just to small for anything to hold the handle on.

3) Speaking of mounting the thing that worked best after trying several glues/epoxy was Scotch Outdoor mounting tape. Found at any hardware store

4) My first though was to use plastic but the polycarbonate I first tried turned out be to brittle after it was drilled and counter-sunk. So a piece of hardwood molding that was lying around worked perfect.

ControlC, that is a nice option. Maybe this weekend I'll check out the hardware store and see if I can find anything cool like that.
