Do you notice anything different with these foglights?

What do you see that no other smart has with these foglights between pic one and two???????? Also I did not purchase the car with fog lights

Parking lamps are off in the first and on in the second.

In the upper photo, the amber parking lights are off; in the lower photo the amber parking lights are on (like mine). So what is so significant about that, other than where they are taking switching power from?

The fact that I can turn on the fog lights by them self

If the weather or visibility is such that it necessitates having the fog lamps on, why wouldn't you also want the tail lamps and front marker lamps on too?

So, what we see in Pic1 is fog lights only and in Pic2 we see headlights, parking lamps and fog lights all on?

Apparently, the reflection in Pic1 makes the headlights look like they are on with the parking lamps definitely off.
