The dome light and the backup lights works great, but I've had 2 license plate LEDs burn out after about 3 weeks of use. Cliff said it was due to heat buildup in the holder. Its a real bummer because they looked great! In fairness, he replaced one of the bulbs already. I'm just not sure how long this one will last.

LOL, my replacement LED is now dead as well. That's 3 different bulbs not lasting but 2 weeks. Is it an LED thing or is it the manufacturer? Perhaps I will try another vendor, but I am starting to think LED license plate lights are not feasible.

It may be a manufacturer thing - metallization in the LED wireframe and associated connectors - or a design thing - overdriving the LED beyond rated current - or a reliability thing - vibration affecting the packaged device in unexpected ways.

However it goes, high reliability manufacturers are hard to find these days.

My 6-LED dome light has started to flicker. Just three of the LEDs, What's up with that?

My license plate LED's have been working great since Feb. 09, as are my dome light and reverse light LED's

No problems
