edashkit.com

I'm interested in placing a wood-grain finish on the plastic parts of my new baby. I sent edashkit an email about wood colors, and it bounced - the mailbox was full! So, I called the number and I swear I got someone out of bed. I'm not going to bite on this one. So, if you're interested in the same thing you may want to shop elsewhere.

I was happy with the product and service from wood dash kits as was at least one other forum member who used them for his truck prior to using them for his smart. Their site is Wood Dash Kits | Dash Kits | Carbon Fiber Dash Kit | wooddashexperts.com - Home
There are pics of their "real brushed aluminum kit" in my gallery and ones of their carbon fiber kit in RobotBill's.

Ordered my kit

I ordered from Wood Dash Experts (wooddashexperts.com). I'll let folks know it it goes. I ordered the complete set: the 37 psc main kit, the 4 psc door kit, and the 2ps overhead (coupe, not cab) kit. I ordered a synthetic walnut burl.

I didn't choose edashkit.com because I haven't heard back about a sample request.

I didn't choose SuperiorDash because I wanted a much warmer burl color than they have.

It may be a while until it's warm enough to install, but I'll keep you posted with pics.

Jetfuel and SuperiorDash,

No offense to a supporting vendor, just my taste differs.

Check out my dash in my gallery. I got the real carbon fiber in red( which looks orange but matches the red interior). I used wooddashexperts.com also would add that at least for me despite -5 to 10 degree F temps the stuff is still sticking.

I'm sorry, I did not know this. Perhaps you can tell the Smart Community the difference between your picts and what is possible. And also, the difference between "flat" kits and 2-D and 3-D applications. Thanks man!
