The warranty is less an issue than taking somthing that works spending money to change it and end up fixing it two three times until it works again... a euro dash is much higher up my list of things to do.

I'm with karl on this one. I love the mod, but I would only consider this 3 or more years down the road when I'm in my the-hell-with-it mode. I'll have to print evilution's DIY instructions and archive them 'til then. Before then I'll also practice on an old PC or some other motherboard with tiny LEDs.
Soon as I can afford another dash I plan on doing this. Can't be without the dash when driving, and it'll probably take me a couple of weeks to put the time together to complete it. Plus... the instrument panel is practically plug-and-play.... with two dashes, I can do one in blue, and then the original in another color like red or green or something, (maybe red and green for Christmas!!! ;P ) and then swap whenever I want.
My LEDs are on order. I took an electronics class and I used to solder boards and rc cars all the times. I have done an LED swap on some other electrical stuff, so nothing new. My Leds cost me $20 for 25. I will need only 20 of them for the dash, window controls and the button bar.
Wish me luck. My entire car is going to glow a bright blue. I also ordered a custom face plate from Evilution's recommended supplier. Its a retro colored faceplace with custom fonts using the IMPACT font in a white background.
My radio came in and will go in at the same time. A Kenwood KVT-512 and a Garmin KNA-G510 Navigational HD unit. Subwoofer is still being built but this will be my last piece I add in. I am prerunning all the electrical for the sub when I setup the radio.
Finally I also got the confirmation about my rims. They are on the way. I will show pics as I go through everything and get everything hooked up.
