In the year I've had my car, I've probably tried about 5 different ways of mounting my phone - none of them satisfactorily. I use my phone (an HTC Touch Pro) with iGuidance for GPS, so I really need to be able to see the screen (even with voice directions). ProClip has finally made a mount that works very, very well. I just installed it today and am extremely pleased. The mount fits perfectly and just clips on behind the radio and into the seam on the left side of the glove box. It could be removed and no one would ever know it had been there. With a swivel on the device mount the phone can be adjusted so it can be seen by either a passenger (watching a movie on the vga screen?

) or the driver.
I plug my phone into a three-outlet 12v extension thingy superglued to the bottom of my cd holder, so the cord comes directly up and isn't in the way of anything. ProClip also has a mount that goes on the left pillar, but I thought I'd find that really distracting so I got the one that goes on the console. Anyway, here's a link -
