Well after seeing so many really cool smarts with vertical doors I bought a set of Vertical door hinges from Smart Madness.. Thanks Boris! This is a great kit! Well built and is very strong.... I would rate this Mod as a 9 1/2 and it takes some time and thought. I have to say everything went very well for me. I am not one to jump into anything and did a lot of research on this project before I started it. I am totally satified with the look and use of the doors. I hope you all enjoy my pictures...

Oh.. one more thing we now have another smart in Lahaina...its a white one..Patrick is the owner. Patrick came over to my place on Saturday and we talked smarts for a while. Lahaina now has 3 smarts... Now all we need is a dealership and service center..

Awesome, looks like mine, I did have to go through 3 different shock pressures until they finally lifted with ease. I am using the shock # 620, originally was the 520, then we tried 580. I have Pioneer Premier speakers with a heavier magnets, so an increase was needed. You should be able to lift the door up while sitting down in the car, getting out a lifting it it's as cool.

Here you go the finished mod... veritcal doors, painted headlights, s-mann body kit, window tints & Speedy wheels... Next is the stereo system.. sub, amp and new speakers... I will have that installed by someone else..

Yep, thats right pigen english...its just a part of Hawaii... After living here for 19+ years I am very used to it. Glad to be back on this forum I have been away for the summer... Glad to be home and now I can drive my smart again.. Going to take my smart and its vertical doors to the car show this weekend.. it should get some looks..
