I ad done the same thing, but took it a bit further - painted the dark-gray trim pieces (doors, center console top, dash sides). Used a new paint designed for plastic (Fusion). The color is not an exact match for the body panels, but I couldn't find one much closer..

That's EXACTLY what I'm doing gbryers! Question - I didn't look yet but how do the door pull trim pieces come off? Looks great - I'm eager for mine now since it'll be an exclusive color - sort of a Mountain Dew bottle GREEN chrome metallic!

Man I hope you guys don't think I'm just copying you... but that was exactly what I had in mind for my smart. I'm just alittle more financially strapped. The interiors look fantastic... John you want to make some money?.... oh wait.
