Ignition Free Electric Windows

I've searched this site but couldn't find anything on it. I saw the Evilution site. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has done a mod to be able to raise or lower the electric windows without the key in the ignition.

I made this change in August 2007. Simply pull the load wire (Windows) from the fuse box, Connect the load wire (with an in line fuse) to the auxiliary 'Always on' section of the fuse box.

Done !

I suppose one could pay that amount (plus shipping) and wait for it to show up, but it seems more cost effective to DIY for probably less than $5.

Well, I went ahead and got the unit and installed it today. Yes, it is kinda spendy for what it is but it really is nice to have. We don't have any kids and my wife stays in the car a lot during short trips into a electronics store. This will give her the opportunity to roll down the window if I find something that takes a little longer to look at. Also added the "actual size" sticker to the back window along with the window handle from Home Depot as posted by a fellow member. Used automotive exterior tape and it is on solid.
