Wow, you people are not nice to each other about your different smart mods! If you don't like the mod don't get it and why bad mouth someone else? Does it make you feel superior or something? The smart is not for everyone and apparently the same thing can be said for manners. I know we all have different opinions but one would think we could state them in a polite manner. I personally don't care if you don't like the mods on my smart but there is no need to be insulting either.

No, smartfloridadad, I do not have that mod. You didn't ask for our opinion of the mod but I think the LED underneath mod looks really cool. I can just see a smart with that mod driving in the evening near near a Florida beach. Cool.

If you don't like it LEAVE! JUST KIDDING!

Nastiness seems to be the latest trend here lately. Some of the rudeness makes me boil sometimes but oh well.

Now, on to the subject. I haven't put any on mine though I have a few kits laying around it just isn't my bag. Yes, I have a Florida beach to drive it on too. Doesn't mean it looks bad IMO, I think I might be getting old.......

Please relax.
Most people are just kidding/messing around with their comments.
I really did not see any harsh attacks here.
Short of that, it's nothing to get railed up about when others express their opinion about another's mods.

It takes a thick skin to survive on an automotive forum.
I figured a thick skin was already a requirement for driving a Smart.

If you do get the Bottom LED's, on your Smart, please post pics, as many of us would love to see it.
Never get bothered by what some of the negative posters will say.

Under side LED's don't seem to bad to me. Just don't put on 22" spinners and hydraulics

"Get a thick sick" or "relax" or "chill out" or "LEAVE" seems to me to be code for "accept bad manners 'cause people don't wanna be challenged to do better" or those things are said to belittle someone's feelings or beliefs. Maybe they are said to be helpful. I think the tone of some posts have been to ridicule LED underneath lights. I don' think ANY kind of forum should put up with ridicule. Having said that, I know that sometimes written messages don't come off as we would wish but let's face it, we DON'T really know each so maybe ridicule should be left somewhere else. If I had LED lights I sure would think twice before posting here. I wouldn't expect a very friendly response, not from this forum and that's what I'm saying, the tone of that kind of post makes this forum unfriendly.

There was a thread about rudeness on the forum lately but I can't find it via the search function. Maybe we could continue this discussion there as it is kind of rude to contaminate the thread even more.

Sorry - I did a GIANT JUST KIDDING with a smiley next my leave - I hope you saw that and thought it would get point across that I was joking, some people are joking but forget to mention they are and come across as quite rude.

You are right. I'll take it there. I think the thread was called "ugliness on the forum".

Here's the link to the Ugliness in the forum? thread , if you want to continue commenting on the subject. Don't know why it didn't come up on the regular search; had to Google it.
