Thank you Timo: I'll try the copy and paste for the email. that would be so cool, everyone will think it cute. Timo, have you had problems with the sun coming in from the side window and the stock visor not being long enough to block it?

WELCOME etbitty!

First order of business
.....when you say SE Alabama just how SE are you talking? Lake run? Lake Jackson? That's about as SE as you can get, now you are making me want to run up there as I live right up the road from there - today I will have a few cars at a car show just south of the state line in Mossy Head FL at the Panhandle Opry house, a couple smarts will be in the mix.

If you are that SE then I'd like to forumally (pun intended) you to the next Emerald Coast smart Car Club get together on the 29th of this month. If you're interested just PM me and I'll fill you in on the details. This meet will involve crossing state lines but should have a bit of fun once you get to the meet on the beach.

Once again, WELCOME! Any questions, most likely I live right up the road and can help.

Hi bum-ling-B I live in Ozark Alabama, and work in Dothan which is pretty LA (lower alabama) so yes I am familiar with the florida border towns, especially the small ones. The lake I refer to is Dale County Lake, we have a great 5K path around the lake, the only place I can go in our summer months during the afternoon and it be shady enough to get a decent run in without heat exhaustion. Also I have already been in contact with (Vic) of the Emerald Coast club, we will be in Destin Labor day weekend and will be in touch with the club to see about trying to get to the meetings. I look forward to meeting more Smarties'

solution for side window visor

anyone else come up with a solution to the side window visor being to short to cover the whole window for morning and evening shade? the shade I found (in posts above) works, but looks a little tacky.

Maybe I can refine it some

On your way down to Destin, get ahold of me as you'll be going right through town IF you take the back road into Florala then 1087 to 285 which is the most direct route there from your area.

My phone # is on the club roster.
