Denise, I was given the same wrong information by smartusa prior to configuring, back when smartusa still didn't understand that only standard colors had the colors molded in. Based on that wrong information, I ordered silver body panels. By the time I learned the truth about which panels had molded-in colors and which did not, it was too late to change my configuration. (My car was a first-day January '08 delivery.) I pursued the matter until smartusa agreed to swap panels from silver to a standard panel - I chose white. If you relied on wrong info, as I did, you might pursue the matter through a factory rep to get your panels changed.
