Dink, I think you should include a quick drilling template. Would be easy to make up. Just one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Align up with the seams and top of pannel.
I agree with piglith. I measured to the best of my ability (admittedly not a craftsman) and was a little off. I had to do some additional grinding around the hole before the spike would screw in properly. It will be pretty ugly if I ever remove the spike.
