Yah... reminds me of a guy in the neighborhood where I grew up who put a RR grill on his VW bug.

I've been thinking about what to put on a custom license-plate frame. Wonder whether I can get "conspicuous non-consumption" to fit?

Worked great however...

I got the emblem off with no problem. Exactly as described and no damage. The problem however, I now have a "ghost" emblem on my hood. I used the wd 40 and got off all the adhesive and cleaned then waxed and still a ghost emblem? Oh well maybe in time it'll go away with sun exposure etc.

It worked for me!

I had my detail guy take the smart emblem off with dental floss and a hair dryer. It worked great.

How'zit look:

The only emblems I took off were the Passion stickers, and they peeled right off. Still don`t like the name @ all.

that's because, she bought it as a fife months old and the sun did it's work...

I just debadged my all black Passion Coupe. I used heavy waxed thread from a leather stitching tool. The heat really helps.

Thanks for the inspiration!

When I removed mine I used a hair dryer to soften the glue and a fishing "small" plastic (nylon) stainless steel leader line. Heated the emblem and then slowly using a sawing motion back and forth across the backside of the emblem if it became difficult I stopped and heated the emblem some more. After the emblem was removed there was often some black glue substance still on the panel so while warm I just rolled it with my finger and then cleaned everything up. Worked like a charm for me.
