Rubber Dash Tray Liners

I went ahead and purchased the rubber dash tray liner kit. In it you get 3 parts: one ea for the storage areas to the left and right of the steering column, and one for the glove box area. The instructions that come with the kit, confidently indicate (in 4 languages) that if you are fortunate enough to have the glove box option, you may trim the large liner at the points marked on the back, so that it will fit in the glove box.

Can't for the life of me find those trim markings on the back. Can anyone else who bought this kit help?

My service manager did the cutting.

I also bought those mats. When my service manager pulled them out for me, he indicated that he had already trimmed them for me. It appeared to me that the cut made the longest rubber mat, narrower and maybe even at a slight angle, since that's the way it appeared when I was looking at it trying to figure out which way the widest part should go.

I'm sorry I can't tell you more. I was glad he did it since I'm almost two hours away from the dealership.

you might try making a paper liner as a template and then cut your mat - good way to avoid a mistake

Official Dealer Accessory. The ones for the trays on either side of the stering wheel are great and fit perfectly.

Will try the template method.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the functions of the Rubber Dash Tray Liners? What do they look like?

They keep your oddments from moving around during driving manuevers. Nice little extra. They are dark grey textured rubber.

The are a good option. The one to the left of the steering wheel holds my two remote controls, and they don't rattle around. Nothing rattles in the glove box, either. Although I didn't trim my glove box mat (yet), it can be placed in the box fine by aligning the front edge with the opening.

Garage
Or you can buy some of that sticky shelf liner stuff at a big box store and cut it to fit. Comes in several colors and has to be cheaper than the official smart items.
