Seat Swap?

Can I swap my seats so that the recline mechanism is on the outside (closest to the door)?

Great idea, but I think the airbag would be on the wrong side.

+1...a novel thought, but definitely not recommended. ;)

I guess the next logical question is whether we can add the recline lever on the door-facing side of each seat? Or is there a way to move the existing lever from one side to the other? I agree the existing position is less than ideal.

Yes, airbag would be on the wrong side unless you you swaped the "seat" and left the back in the original position... Is there a way to swap the recline lever to the outside?

I might be mistaken, but are the levers mounted on the seatbacks?

I was thinking you could maybe swap out the brackets. I've been so busy doing every thing else and driving every where. That I haven't gotten around to looking at them.

No, there is no way.
I'm not sure why you think swapping with RHD smart seats would help, we still have airbags on the outside and adjusters on the inside.

Adjuster is attached to the seat backs so swapping the backs over isn't an option.

My suggestion is "get used to the adjusters being on the inside".

Evilution, can you take the brackets and adjuster loose from the seat back and switch everything but the seat back(besides air bags you also have the seatbelt gide on the seat back that can't be xchanged) I guess I could go out and see. But I figure you would already know.
Thanks
