Sill Plates from Billet & Acrylic Fantasies

I had ordered a pair of brushed aluminum sill plates from Billet & Acrylic Fantasies in Vero Beach, FL about a month ago (Welcome to Billet & Acrylic Fantasies). Since they don't yet take credit cards, I sent off a personal check and had the item delivered within 5-6 days. Excellent service. These are quality items and attach with double-sided automotive tape. I proceeded to put these on my silver Trideon and white smart. The first thing that I noticed was that the brushed aluminum finish had about the same coloration as the silver painted door frame on which they rested, making them just about invisible! Not the first time I've ever made a poor choice.

Placed a second order for sill plates, but this pair was the polished aluminum. The new order once again arrived rapidly and, when placed on my smart, made all the difference. They dress up the step plate area nicely. If you have a silver Trideon I'd strongly suggest the polished sill plates; if you have a black Trideon, either would work nicely. Hope this saves someone a small disappointment in their choice of finish.

Does this mean that you have a pair of "slightly used" sill plates for sale?
pics and pricing?

Thanks for the compliments. Just my opinion, but I think the polished look best on either the silver or black. Guess I'm just more partial to polished billet.

Probably have one of Tom's first sets of polished sills. Love 'em. Car should have come with them!
