smart center Indy wants to charge $235 to install the extra mounting points for the bike rack. Has anyone done this for themselves? If so, how did it go? Does it require something more than a shade tree mechanic? Were directions included?
I'd like the bike rack, but have trouble swallowing $394 for parts plus the install cost. Not to mention a two and a half hour drive and a couple of hours hanging out at the dealership. It makes the bike rack an all-day $630 affair.
