I've always wondered about the logic and legality of those. If I had those on and got rear ended by someone, I'd expect them to jump all over that and say they couldn't see the lights as well as they should have. The ad speaks to that too, saying, "Can be easily removed for driving or cleaning. This item may not be legal on a street driven vehicle. Check your local and state laws in your area before street use."

Back to topic.... These are true tinted covers my understanding of first looking at the smartmadnes ones, they were tinted clear coat , as in painted..... It has been a long night....

They also have the headlight covers. Both front and rear snap on and should be removed while driving at night

i just ordered a set,front and back,cheapest ive seen,i live by the beach and see a lot of cars with them,i asked a local cop and he said as long as u dont drive at night with them,but im sure there will be other officers that dont agree with that since they r brake lights too,and should not be tinted,but oh well i will take my chances,lol---and i dont drive this car at night,i work long hours at a golf club,and when i get home its right to bed
