Well... It was a nice idea, anyway.

Got home yesterday, but couldn't do a damn thing with the Cabrio. Instead of carrying my "office" satchel on the flight home, I had sent it FedEx - cheaper that way. It was supposed to be at the house when I got home.

No joy.

Unfortunately, I had suffered a small brain-fart and forgot to take my car key out of the bag before I shipped it out last Friday.

[*sigh*]
Oh well. At least I know where the key is. According to the tracking number, it's out on the truck for delivery. Hopefully before sunset...

(and before anyone says it, yes; I do have another key. It's in my wife's purse in Bradenton, Florida)

I decided to skip 'em because the set I got are larger than I anticipated and IMHO would look incredibly stupid on a car the size of a Fortwo.

I may stick 'em to the roof of the cap on my pickup truck, where no one but the birds can see 'em. It might help keep the cap's back window clean... Or I'll just write 'em off.

No, as a matter of fact I won't.

Maybe in a few years when the engine's out of warranty, and there's a body of R&D done on the turbocharged Fortwo...
