Spoiler MODs

[Cruising n Coasting]

Has anyone thought of making their own spoiler (front or rear) or adapting one from another small car (ie Honda Fit) for the SMART? I realize there are a couple of choices here from vendors that look like factory stuff for $300-$1000 each piece. But I am thinking much cheaper, any takers?? See pics below for ideas:
