I've said before I want to see verifiable, repeatable, preferably-impartial recorded data that the unit does what it's claimed to do before I'd consider mucking about with one. I don't want to hear about any more "seat-of-the-pants dynos;" I want hard evidence.
It's funny how so far no proponent of the Sprint Booster can point to any such written data. I wonder why that is.... I'm more than willing to admit I have the wrong idea about the device, but you gotta do one *HELL* of a lot better job at proving the case for it than has been done so far, if you want any of *my* money for one.
As far as the "hundreds of happy users" goes, there's an old saying I'm rather fond of: A silly idea, although very popular, is still silly. And there is such a thing as the Placebo Syndrome too, y'know...

Just another opinon.
What data are you waiting to see? The company doesn't claim any performance claim. The response time is just increased. If you are sketpical about it I'd just buy one and try it out, you can always return it and get your money back. It takes 30 seconds to install. Better that than just "waiting" for data . I am glad that I purchased one my self.
I agree with SunDiego - the 'hard data' folks are looking for just isn't going to happen. IMHO, the white paper presented explains pretty darn well what the Sprint Booster does. Again, the unit doesn't make outlandish claims, such as other after-market stuff/junk. Clearly, the Sprint Booster isn't for everyone. Why? Because as the white paper suggests, it only improves the subjective feel of the pedal - and not all folks are interested in that. Back in March, I made the following post (post #7) regarding my direct experiences with the Sprint Booster...
As the post states, I enjoy the Sprint Booster for 'the feel'... as corny as that sounds. My wife? She could care less. Does it make the Sprint Booster bad? No; she just doesn't 'sense' the difference. But I do. Placebo Effect? Perhaps... if so, the effect is working! Isn't that all that matters... how we 'feel' about our cars?
Bottom line... Take SunDiego's advice - try it for 30-days. If it's data you really want, you have 30-days to give the unit all the testing you want. If you don't like it, send it back for a refund. What other after-market add-on makes the same offer. Peace.

It's Friday night, we are going to go out for a little fun in a bit (looong week) and I am in a great mood.
With that I would like to give you an offer you cannot refuse! :-)
I love what the Sprint Booster does, all the folks that work with us love it, those that have purchased one and used it love it, the two people that stopped by our store today, had us install it on their smarts to try out loved it (both bought one) and I have issues with you and a couple of other board members wanting proof. By the way... No offense taken at all. I may have asked for the same. Instead I just installed it and loved it!
Sooooo, here is what I am willing to do:
I will personally sent you a Sprint Booster to try out for 30 days without asking you for one, single dollar!
I will even ship it to you at my expense!
Put it on your car, use it for 30 days and tell us what you think. If you think it is worth the money and want to keep it, then I will ask you to pay for it. If after 30 days you decide against keeping it, then simply send it back to us.
I am only making this offer to you (The Rigger) because you are an active member of this forum and have asked over and over again for some kind of proof. Sprint Booster does not make any performance claims. They and us simply claim that you will love the improvement this unit makes to the driving experience of your smart car.
Soooo, how about it? :-)
I will send you one to try out for FREE! Nothing to loose.....
For the rest of the folks.... I am sorry to say I cannot afford to send everyone on this forum a free sprint booster. I respect this posters opinions and trust that he will return it if he is not satisfied with the item.
I hope this shows some of the skeptics and others that are on the fence about our feeling about this little wonder.
I think I will keep my money and use it to make a car payment. Its to expensive and all it does it increase how it accelerates. If I want to speed up I will push it to the floor that is plenty of acceleration, IMHO.

Boris,
I appreciate the very generous offer, and because we've done a lot of business together in the past few months I'm taking it seriously, but I'm going to decline it at this time, mainly because I'm not home enough with the car to make any evaluation, and won't be for at least the rest of this year and maybe beyond. Maybe when this tour ends - if it ever ends - I'll take you up on it.

Thank you for your honesty Dave. I appreciate it and please let me know when you get back.
Maybe we can do something then. :-)
WDhitch....
You're up next! Drop me an email to smartmadness@gmail.com or PM with your address and I will get one out to you. Let me know if you would like to try out Version II (our most popular) or Version III (my favorite and the most aggressive).
Sorry folks, we cannot do this for everyone. :-(
We do have a money back guarantee, so if you are thinking about it you may want to try it out risk free.
