I'm considering these:

Anybody have any experience with this company? Thanks!

I have a 5 year old BMW that has had no problems and I see older BMWs with no discernible yellowing. So not sure these are worth the price

I have had three Jetta's that have the plastic lenses, plus my 911 did, my Excursion has them so I can say that from my experience yellowing hasn't been an issue - HOWEVER they all look like crap from all the stone, bug and sand chips because I am a tailgater. Now since the smart is slow and putts along I won't be - HA! I think these are a great idea for anyone who drives behind another vehicle and I have nothing to be gained from endorsing them.

I was thinking more of rock & bug protection. One of our supporting vendors may have something like this soon so I'm holding off for now. Thanks for your replies.

John as discussed in the clear bra threads... I see no bang for the buck with this car for panel or paint protection ...but after paying dearly once for a $589 head light assy the cost of the clear protectors is evident

No idea on this company but it counds like and is priced the same as the product I use on my off road cars and trucks...

Cheap enought to replace every 2 ~3 years as it does gain dings and starts to look crappy

Has anyone put on the Headlight Armor or any vinyl product on their headlights yet? I want to put something on mine to prevent pitting/breakage and want to know if it's really something I could do at home and have turn out nice or if it's better to pay a shop and have a pro put them on. Any thoughts or suggestions? I called a local place and they said it'd be about $75 to do the headlights.

Well, not to be poo-pooing the company, but you can usually find the same stuff at a vinyl supply store and it'll only cost you about $5 for a yard of the stuff and a buck or two for a razor knife to cut it out yourself.

I have done this on the hate tank, that has big, square headlights. It took about an hour total.

Your pal,
Meat.
