I don't think I'll be buying these anytime soon - looking at smartunes website you can get both front and rear for only $4,665! Smartune has a lot of cool stuff you can get for less though.

Cost may come down quite a bit depending on what S-Mann does with its supplier. He is currently looking for ways to bring the disk kits "within reach" of most smart owners

The front BBK is definately the best bang for the buck right now, its almost half the cost of the more expensive Tarox kit.

isn't it usually a drum-style e-brake inside the hat fred? i know that's the way it is on my ford exploder rear disc i put onto my jeep tj.

Caliper pictures appear to use a scroll type screw in the rear of the caliper. GM used this extensively on it's rear disc non-Corvette cars, and it was a major source of problems for them.
