Wanted: Unlock both doors with one click of unlock button.

Wanted: Unlock both doors (driver's and passenger's) doors with one click of the unlock button on the key fob.

I wish to press the unlock button and unlock both doors simultaneously.

You already have that option?

Howdy
When you press the unlock button on the dash panel both doors, tailgate and fuel door unlock?

Furthermore, when you click the unlock button TWICE on the fob, it unlocks both doors...

That way, you can unlock just "your" side when the usual crowd is around...

Still want one press of unlock on key fob to unlock both doors.

I understand that pressing the unlock button on key fob twice will unlock both doors.

I still would like a modification such that only one press of the unlock button on the key fob would unlock both doors.

If someone is going to get into the software for stuff like this, how about changing the logic so that the doors don't lock at 8 mph or whatever. If it is a safety issue, at least don't lock the tailgate every flippin' time so that when one exits the car the "trunk" is accessible. thanks mr. software modification guy. (Cue "real men of genius soundtrack.")

According to the manual, you can turn off the automatic locking feature by pressing the "unlock" button on the dash while "simultaneously" pressing the "unlock" button on the key fob. You should hear a confirmation tone to let you know that it's "disabled." If you want to re-engage the function, do the same thing with the "lock" buttons as opposed to the "unlock" buttons. I still think you'd probably have to press the "unlock" on the dash at least once to unlock the rear window/tailgate, but then it should remain unlocked until you lock the doors again. Yes?? Hopefully!!

Most cars require at least two clicks on the fob to open other doors. My Pontiac has that feature, and so does my husband's much newer Impala. I've never heard of one click, all doors. Don't think I'd want it.

Om my Jeep you can program the locks and I do find it more convenient to have everything unlock with one click

And I'd like my bum to be clean with 1 wipe. There is no need for this sort of lazyness. What next, you only want 1 pedal?
