A lot of the aftermarket goodies are made in Germany, and shipped all over from there
Suppliers like Michalak at one time included pictorial instructions, and at one time even posted them on their website. Then they stopped....probably someone messed something up and blamed them.
One of the major independant suppliers, who supplies me and several other mjor suppliers who are supporting vendors on this forum, speaks very poor English, and has no means of getting translations for the items he buys in Germany and then resells to everyone.
His website is in both English and German, it is obvious that a machine is used to translate from German to English. Once in awhile there is a spelling mistake in the German version, then the English translations can get real wild !
My German is pretty good, I communicate with him in German, but translating instructions can be difficult,if you have ever tried it in any language. I pass on TÜV papers, for example, to customers who buy rims, e.g., but these are all in German and probably benefit perhaps only 1% of customers .
That is the problem when the middleman is in Germany, and even íf he does get instructions, gets them only in that language.
The internet is a wonderful thing, it has flattened the earth, so to speak, but not all the little kinks and details have been worked out yet, as we can see.
