What I like about this program is that you will have the install (and all of the ancilliary cabling of speaker wires and the like) done at the dealership. I have had bad experience with aftermarket installers in the past, and once their damage is done, it remains in place for the long haul. With the in house install, you can expect things to be done right and according to specification.
However, I am wanting to have the jumper wire installed to enable use of the unit while in motion. Many times, we have found ourselves in a strange city, trying to chase down an address, only to have to pull over to the side of the road while my co-pilot enters the appropriate data. I would never do this as the driver, but with two people in the car it is possible to do it safely. Also, the ability for the passenger to watch a DVD while in motion is something that we would like to have.
Since all of the speaker work and the like will be taken care of by the dealer, it will be simple enough to slide the head unit out and attach the jumper.
