amp REM & fact. sub wiring

Where is a good place to tap the RMA wire in? Just want to know where to put that, easy if possible. Radio 9, if it makes a difference. I gotta nice wally world amp and am getting the underdash sub through ebay when my refund check gets in. I'm treating myself and giving my factory setup a little boost. Nothing extra...

Also Where is that "sub" wiring under the drivers seat? I looked around and seen nothing but what was already interconnected to the seat. Where is it hiding? What colors to look for?

The connector is hiding under the carpet behind the right, front of the seat. The X is already cut in the carpet to allow the connector through but if you don't have the underseat sub, it's left under the carpet.

What does your Remote Mounted Amplifier expect as inputs? The underseat subwoofer takes in one door speaker channel and one tweeter channel and uses the combination to mix to what the subwoofer believes is the correct output. For an under-dash sub that uses the same inputs as the under-seat sub, you'd be better off hacking into the small wires that share the connection with the larger gauge wires that feed the doors or tweeter locations.

Since the Radio9 has no subwoofer channel output, I'll defer to those who have installed their own underdash subs to detail the hookup.

Well you can tag the remote turn on behind the radio, or at the fuse box. behind the radio is the best place imo.

I added a underseat sub-woofer which I brought off e-bay, and it works fine with my radio 9. It must be getting it's input from somewhere.

Hmm. I'm having difficulty finding my sub wire to tap into for a high level input to the amp. I found the X in the carpet cut, with a wire already hooked through it (heated seat) but I couldn't locate that bit of sub wiring. unless it's really hidden well in there..
The amp has a Low Pass Filter on it, so the full frequency "sub" wiring should do fine. If I could find it without taking the seat out.... -_-

If you undo the seat brackets (torx T45) so you can lift the carpet, you'll find the other connector. It's probably several inches away (6ish) rather than finger depth (2ish). This connector carries power/ground, one door speaker and one tweeter channel, no "subwoofer" channel since that's taken care of in the amp inside the sub.
