BTW, do you actually have first hand experience with the harness? Is it definitely a plug and play solution? I have read in some other threads that individuals have purchase "a harness" (not sure if it's this one), and that it ended up being useless to them. Let me know. Thanks again.

ShaneXman, I got a post-1986 VW stereo adapter harness from Best Buy for $19.99 and once I've matched, spliced and taped the wires by color, the harness took in the two smart receiver harness in a snap.

Get this, I ordered the mounting kit and harness from MillionBuy.com at 1:30 PM yesterday afternoon, and guess what showed up on my desk at 10:30 AM this morning!?!? Yup, my mounting kit and harness! Less than 24 hours!!!

I can't believe it. A big THANK YOU to Million Buy...if anyone is considering these parts, they have top notch service. Additionally, when I placed the order I received a comfirmation...shortly after that I received a tracking number, and then when the package got delivered this morning I received another email saying the package has been delivered (as the FedEx guy was driving away *shock*).
