Got my Smart without a radio planning on a aftermarket system. I was then able to buy a Smart 'take off' base model radio for $25. Now I need to put it in. Anything I need to know? I know how to get the filler plate off the dash but is there anything 'unusual' I need to know before I start??? TIA!!!
Thanks Evilution....do I need to disconect the battery terminals?? I know I should but was not sure on this car...plus ain't even looked at the battery yet!!!
I'll check AM next time I am where I can! I live in a VERY rural area with one AM station that does not come in on any car or home radio. FM and CD are fine....wife has the iPod in the Jeep...will check that later too.....
Thanks Evilution....after looking at the owners manual I did it w/o disconnecting the battery....just made sure the key was in my pocket and hoped for the best! All was well!
